Abacus Belsize Primary - Admission Policy 2026-2027
Consultation note
We are required by law to consult on our admissions policy at least every 7 years. We are therefore running a consultation on our admissions policy between 16 December 2024 and 31 January 2025. Comments are sought on any part of our Admissions Policy 2026-2027 from any interested person or party, but in particular from parents/carers and prospective parents/carers.
The admissions policy 2026/2027 is published on our school website and is also available in hard copy upon request from the school office. This policy applies for admission in September 2026.
Changes to our policy
We have not made any significant changes to our admissions policy. We have taken this opportunity to update our policy to make it clearer and easier for parents/carers and the rest of the school community to read and use. There has been no change to the catchment area or any other over-subscription criteria. Only minor administrative amendments have been made to clarify existing processes.
Responses to the consultation
We would welcome your views on our consultation. Please ensure you respond to the consultation by noon on Friday, 31 January 2025 if you wish to do so. You can respond by emailing your views to: admin@abacus.anthemtrust.uk or by letter to the school address labelled ‘Admission Consultation’. Please also free to ask us any questions.
Next steps
After our consultation period, we will consider all responses carefully before finalising the Admissions Policy 2026-2027.
Many thanks for your support.
